Facility: Northern California Bay Area

Job Title: Director of Staff Development

Status: Full Time

Shift: AM

Minimum Qualifications:
1. One (1) year of full-time experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in a healthcare setting.
2. Within six (6) months of accepting this position, the incumbent will obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs in a healthcare setting and mental health.
3. Secondary degree or certification preferred.
4. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred


Duties:
1 Collaborates with the Corporate Director of Education in planning, organizing,
and directing staff education services.
2. Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, the provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties assigned to employees, frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance and other management practices that are consistent with continuous quality improvement.
3. Promotes and maintains harmonious and effective relationships and communications within the department and other departments.
