Facility: Home Office-Sacramento

Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Status: Full Time

Shift: AM

Minimum Qualifications:
1) 4 to 6 years purchasing experience; preferably for a mid-large size organization or purchasing within a healthcare setting
2) Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
3) Must be able to implement systematic tools.
4) Must possess excellent negotiating and networking skills.
5) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6) Management/Supervisor experience.
7) Ability to travel throughout California; some overnight travel required.

1) Negotiate with vendors payment terms and pricing on products.
2) Identify vendor opportunities and challenges to ensure appropriate resolution.
3) Build and develop relationships with key vendors and customers.
4) Resolve vendor grievances and claims against company.
5) Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors and other to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action.
6) Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products;
