Job Title: Payroll Controller

Status: Full Time

Shift: AM

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Bachelors in accounting, finance or related field and 5+ years Payroll Accounting experience, with advance understanding of reconciliation from sub ledgers to general ledger
Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work in fast paced environment
Must possess problem solving skills
Works well in team environment
Able to meet deadlines
Computer Skills:
Advanced ADP Enterprise E-time
Advanced ADP Workforce Now products, including report writing
Experience with all Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) with advanced Excel skills

Duties:
Possess a strong analytical and investigative skill to support multiple corporations/cost centers with payroll, health benefits and general ledger processes.
Perform accounting and payroll related tasks: analyzing, validating accuracy, reconciling and maintaining control of pay data from system input, to general ledger, through report and auditing.
Maintain control of cash requirements to satisfy obligations.
Maintain payroll general ledger accounts while determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions.
Compile and substantiate payroll data for Fed/State/Other regulatory agencies.
Reconcile bank statement and recommend resolution for any dissimilarities.
Assist in budget projections, using highly complex formulas for forecasting.
Develop Management Statistical Management Reports through collaboration with Director of Operations/Information Manager and CAO
Document and update procedures and prepare special reports for management and projects as assigned.
Assists during audits, providing supporting documentation and/or internal process information
