Facility: Crestwood Eureka Behavioral Health Center

Job Title: Director of Staff Developement

Status: Full Time

Shift: AM

Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of full-time experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in a healthcare setting.
Within six (6) months of accepting this position, the incumbent will obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs in a healthcare setting and mental health.
Secondary degree or certification preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

The Director of Staff Development develops, implements, and evaluates all orientation and educational programs for all departments within the facility. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner.
Collaborates with the Corporate Director of Education in planning, organizing,
and directing staff education services.
Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, the provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties assigned to employees, frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance and other management practices that are consistent with continuous quality improvement.
