One in four American families is dealing with serious mental health issues on a daily basis and more than 62 million people suffer from mental health issues in a given year.  People facing mental health issues come from all walks of life, including all racial and ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic circumstances.

Crestwood believes that with appropriate rehabilitation, medication when necessary, and personal support systems provided in community settings, mental health consumers can recover and have meaningful, productive lives. We are dedicated to providing the range of resources individuals need to address mental health issues. Here is a brief listing.

A nonprofit, grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of consumers, families, and friends of people with mental health issues.

California Department of Health Care Services
The mission of the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is to provide Californians with access to affordable, high-quality health care, including medical, dental, mental health, substance use disorder services, and long-term services and supports. DHCS’ vision is to preserve and improve the physical and mental health of all Californians.
